THE EMPEROR’S GARDEN
A contest is open to define who will be the next emperor of the kingdom; the child who grows better the seeds that the emperor likes the most, will be the winner.
The clowns will tell that history under the sounds of distant tunes and the scent of live plants in the stage. At the end of the show, the new emperor invites the children to his garden. When the visit ends, the children receive a seed as present to be planted at their homes. The show is a free adaptation from a traditional Chinese tale, called The Seed of True.
REVIEW - Dib Carneiro Neto – (Crescer Magazine 04/2017)
Paola and Vera work very well together and demonstrate a fine tuning, an important harmony in this kind of job, alternating lyricism, naivety and grace in the exact proportions.
...But the best of the show is that before the two clowns begin to narrate the tale, they develop with the audience an interactive game, which is simply charming, creative and fairly functional, but over all of an incredible delicacy.
